All Things Web-tastic
As if you hadn’t noticed I am quite the web geek and love to extol the virtues thereof. I write frequently, when passion imbues me, and otherwise like getting my hands dirty experimenting with artistic endeavours.
I have spent more than 14 years online, first getting on the web in 1995, and building my first web page in 1997. In later years I went to study Politics but at the same time started teaching myself everything I needed to know about the web, and then ultimately going into the industry, first working for myself and then at Last.fm, followed by award-winning Stink Digital, and now BrightTALK. It’s been a fun and rocky road, much of which you can read in my blog post: Life So Far … And a Degree in Politics. But I have no regrets, and I look to enjoy another 10 years of fun and mayhem online!
Permanently Uncached
No doubt, you are wondering about the name. It’s an odd one, I must admit, but it relates to my state as a front-end end developer. No, not in my head, in reference to being permanently unhinged, but rather in disabling the caching in my browser for testing purposes. That aside, the blog is about everything from good design and reviews of it, to search engine marketing and optimisation, and onto general opinion and commentary on every day life.
I often write on my other blogs too, Tech Talk Point and Apple Mac Tutorials, and also spend time writing guest posts elsewhere such as Mac Discussion and Sazbean Internet Strategy. If you happen to be looking for writers, and you like my style, then feel free to ask me about it.

A lot, if not all of the photos used on this blog are from my personal collection of photos, hosted on Flickr, and available to all under the Creative Commons license.
The photos have been shot over the last 10 years, but predominantly over the last 2-3 years in East London, around Hoxton, Shoreditch, Brick Lane and further down into Hackney. On a view occasions I have been on sorties to gather some great shots in other places around the world.
